Granola - a worldwide breakfast phenomenon

Jacqueline, founder of The Golden Bottom Bakery noticed a lack of representation of fine quality Scottish oats on the granola shelves. Culturally of huge importance in Scotland the humble oat is a superstar in terms of nutrition and health giving benefits. Oats at The Golden Bottom Bakery come from a farm in Ellon, in the North East of Scotland where its close proximity to the North Sea and space between the plants in the field grows the best quality, creamiest grains.

When developing the concept of The Golden Bottom Bakery Jacqueline drew on her experiences as a pastry chef at Michelin star level, travels, fashion, music and as a high performance coach.

The pivotal role food has in creating memories and connection is something important in considering offering the granola to the world.

The goal is to bring people together and honour their time and wellbeing.The resulting varieties of granola are full of flavour and with performance supporting ingredients which provide happy nutrition; food which is beautiful, delicious and designed to create memorable experiences and inspire more!

Reflecting the fluid way we make food choices. Weekday provides the solution for keeping energy sustainable with Maca root powder and the slow energy release of oats to power through the week, and it’s Vegan, too. Whilst the Weekend granola offers intimate moments of mindful immersion into dream soft flavours of rose and gently roasted and caramelised hazelnuts. Of course, there is also the option to be a bit rebellious and hedonistic during the week!
